Grand Hotel Opera

Situated by the Drottningtorget Square in Gothenburg, the recently opened Grand Hotel Opera has added additional 4 star guest rooms to the original 3 star rooms. The elegantly decorated guest rooms are light, airy and well-equipped. All have 32” plasma TVs with a wide range of films. Budget and standard rooms are located in the older part of the hotel. The business, superior and deluxe rooms are found in the new part and they also offer air-conditioning. The Brasserie is open for breakfast daily and for lunch from Monday to Friday between 11:30 and 15:00. A bar menu is available daily between 16:00 and 23:00. Grand Hotel Opera also spoils its guests with a wellness centre with pool, sauna, steam bath, cooling pool, footbath and solarium. Directly adjacent is a complete training centre with modern training equipment and weights. Grand Opera's central location brings guests close to all the important transport terminals. Although Opera does not have private parking, there is a parking garage close by. Guests can buy discounted tickets from the front desk. The largest shopping centre in Scandinavia is right around the corner; Östra Nordstan includes more than 150 shops and parking facilities all under one roof. The Exhibition Centre, Liseberg Amusement Park, and the Scandinavium Hall are easily reached by tram. The main stop is just 50 meters from the hotel entrance.
