Today Eriksberg has morphed from a lively shipbuilding arena into a flourishing residential area. Former industrial buildings have become sports halls and many business companies have relocated to the area. Ericsson, Semcon, Caran, Hotell 11, Eriksbergshallen and SVT are a few of the enterprises represented here. It would probably be hard to find any other example in the world where the outcome has been as successful as it has been here in Göteborg.
