Grand Hotel Opera is found at the very heart of Gothenburg. Situated close to the main tram station Drottningtorget, the Central Station and the bus terminal, which is the final station for those buses travelling from Landvetter Airport and Gothenburg City Airport. Around the corner, is the largest shopping centre in Scandinavia, Östra Nordstan, which retains more than 150 shops and parking facilities, all under one roof. The Exhibition Centre, Liseberg, Scandinavium, Rondo and the Universeum are easily reached by tram. The main tram stop is just 50 meters from the hotel's entrance and provides connections to the most popular attractions in Gothenburg.
